ModPosh has zero tolerance for Copyright Infringement.  As defined in Section 501. "Infringement of copyright" of the Copyright Law of the United States of America “Anyone who violates any of the exclusive rights of the copyright owner … or of the author …is an infringer of the copyright or right of the author's".

If ModPosh determines that our rights have been infringed upon, we follow a strict protocol when contacting such infringers. This protocol also involves our contact for legal counsel.  Needless to say, all are forwarned!

There are no current qualifiers for the list at this time.

When processing notifications of copyright infringement, ModPosh follows the "Safe Harbor Provisions" under section 512 of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA).  In order to prevent a delay in response to such notifications, ModPosh requests that all notifications be submitted as outlined under section

"REPORTING VIOLATIONS OF MODPOSH AUP AND/OR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT"

of the ModPosh Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

On a side note:

ModPosh also has a zero tolerance for false and unsubstantiated accusations which are publicly displayed.  Such statements are considered an act of Libel Per Se.  Libel Per Se is defined as "A statement that falsely charges any person with crime, or with having been indicted, convicted, or punished for crime..."  All acts of Libel Per Se are referred to Legal Council.
